Title: Normality preserving operations for Cantor series expansions

Abstract: Several mathematicians have studied operations which map numbers normal in base b to numbers normal in base b. For example, D.D. Wall proved that multiplication by a rational number preserves normality in base b. However for Cantor series expansions, a generalization of b-ary expansions, this theorem fails. I will talk about the construction used to show this theorem does not hold in this more general context and give examples of operations which do preserve normality for Cantor series expansions.
