"Centers of Invariant Differential Operator Algebras for Jacobi Groups of Higher Rank"

Abstract:
Let G be a Lie group acting on a homogeneous space G/K. Then the center of the universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra of G maps homomorphically to the center of the algebra of invariant differential operators on G/K. The question arises: is this homomorphism surjective? We will investigate this question and its generalization to slash actions in the case that G is a Jacobi Lie group and G/K is an extension of the upper half plane of interest in the theory of Jacobi forms.
