"Uniserial representations of Vec(R)."
Abstract:
In this talk, we will summarize our results on the uniserial representations of Vec(ℝ), the Lie algebra of polynomial vector fields on the real line, with a single Casimir eigenvalue and weights bounded below. These representations are composed of the so-called tensor density modules, representations which are deformations of the natural action of Vec(ℝ) on ℂ[z]. Our proofs are cohomological arguments involving 1-cocycles taking values in homomorphism spaces between these irreducible representations of Vec(ℝ).
We also introduce and give preliminary results on analogous representations of the Virasoro Lie algebra.
