In 1986, Chris Freiling introduced the Axiom of Symmetry with a thought experiment giving a philosophical argument for the negation of the Continuum Hypothesis. In this talk, we will introduce the aforementioned axiom and the Continuum Hypothesis and discuss the relationship between these two assertions. This talk should be accessible to anyone interested in these foundational topics.
