Math Modeling is a creative and exciting endeavor that can be applied to a variety of real-world situations. We give some examples of models and focus on a Markov chain of the flow of plastic in a recycling system in Bangladesh. We show some small proofs and coding in Mathematica, including a generalized model. Linear, exponential, and logistic functions are used to describe the amounts of plastic at different stages, from imported plastic pellets to landfill.
