Koshal Dahal

Congratulations to Koshal Dahal for obtaining his Ph.D.

Koshal defended his dissertation: "Trees and Ordinal-Indices In C(K) Spaces For K Countable Compact" on Friday, May 29, 2015. His advisor is Dr. Bunyamin Sari. His research interest lies in functional analysis and more specifically in the Banach spaces of continuous functions on countable compact.

Koshal grew up in Khotang district (mid-eastern village area) and went colleges in capital, Kathmandu of Nepal. He joined the graduate program at UNT from the Tribhuvan University of Kathmandu in Nepal and University of Southern Mississippi, respectively.

Koshal enjoys playing volley ball, cooking, swimming, and he will be joining GVSU at Grand Rapids, MI as a faculty member from fall 2015!
