Joanna Huynh is working toward a B.S. in mathematics and plans to enter medical school after graduation. Joanna is completing a year serving as one of the two Arts & Sciences Ambassadors for the Mathematics Department. Joanna is an acomplished student. In recognition of her good grades, she has been on the President's List and the Dean's List. She was also the recipient of a Multicultural Scholars Award. Joanna is also very involved in student groups on campus and has served as Vice President of the Medically Dedicated Students Organization, as Treasurer of Alpha Epsilon Delta, as Communication Chair for the Emerald Eagle Scholars Organization, and as an ELITE mentor. Joanna will continue as an Arts & Sciences Ambassador next year and will be representing Health Professions. Joanna would be happy to answer questions about majoring in mathematics at UNT, about preparation for a career in medecine, or about how an interest in mathematics and medecine can be combined.
