Title: E_2

Abstract: The classical Eisenstein series E_k for k>2 are the simplest kind of modular forms. Slightly less well known is the Eisenstein series E_2, which is given by a conditionally convergent series. We will explain the adelic origin of all the E_k. This is joint work with Manami Roy and Shaoyun Yi.
