"A gene-based combination test using GWAS summary data "

ABSTRACT:

In this presentation we present a gene-based association test that incorporates four different weighting schemes and includes several popular methods as its special cases. We go through a derivation of the method and discuss power comparison with other popular methods based on real data analysis using schizophrenia and Type 2 diabetes summary data. Finally, while this method is focused on single-trait analysis, we discuss how this method can be extended to analyse summary data for multiple traits.
