"Non Linear Conjugate Gradient Methods" Abstract: We look into the development of techniques to solve unconstrained minimization problems for nonlinear functions. In particular the theory and development of nonlinear conjugate gradient methods from conjugate directions and the performance of Fletcher Reeves and Polak Ribiere methods when applied to Rosenbrock function.
