The ideas of projective geometry have a certain « universality » and appear in many different fields of mathematics and physics. As mathematics itself, the destiny of this old area is to remain forever young… The goal of this talk is to illustrate this universality on contemporary examples, in particular, I will talk about relations of projective geometry to combinatorics and integrable systems.
