About 70 enthusiastic students participanted in the 2013 Integration Bee presided over by Dr. Iaia. The winners were:

• first place ($75 prize) - Chris James - a UNT senior,
• second place ($50 prize) - Stacy Ho - a TAMS junior, and
• third place ($25 prize) - Kevin Yang - a TAMS junior.

There were integrals to calculate and cake to eat and trivia questions to answer - which famous mathematician was born April 15, 1707?

Dr. Iaia would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's Bee such a great success: Rita, Jana, Haley and the rest of the staff for organizing the pre-registration, ordering and serving the cake, getting plates, ice, drinks, and other last minute stuff, and Kanadpriya Basu, Neal Brand, William Cherry, Ojas Dave, Rhonda Huettenmueller, Ajaya Paudel, Laxmi Paudel, Mary Ann Teel, Huguette Tran, and Tim Wilson for helping administer the bee.
