RTG Postdoc Position Available

The Mathematics Department at the University of North Texas invites applications from recent PhD recipients for an RTG Postdoctoral Fellowship in logic and dynamics beginning Fall 2013. The position is funded by the University of North Texas and a Research Training Grant from the National Science Foundation. The usual term of the position is three years, with a two course teaching load each year. In addition to teaching and research, the RTG Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to mentor graduate and undergraduate students and participate in other RTG activities. The nine-month salary is \$45,000, plus \$10,000 summer support for two years.

All applicants must be US citizens, nationals or permanent residents, who have had their PhDs in mathematics for no more than 18 months at the time of application or are graduate students who will complete their PhD requirements by the position start date.

The successful candidate is expected to have a research interest in logic or dynamics. Applicants whose research connects both fields will be given priority consideration.
