This is a drawing along Blenhem Street of the Cavendishes' property. Blehhem is left-right; Great Marlborough Street is the cross street visible at the extreme right. Henry Cavendish's house would be the left half of this grand property. There is no description of Cavendish's laboratory, but it was probably in the stable (extreme left, out of view), but we do know his facilities were very elaborate, with furnaces, chemicals, apparatus, sinks, ventilation, lamps, and glassware.
