In the Main Hall is exhibited this statue of Charles Darwin (1809-1882), the famous British naturalist. The statue, by Sir Joseph Boehm, was created in 1885. The Darwin Centre in the museum is an expansive site, housing millions of specimens and an activity area, found in the west wing complex of the museum.
