"Fritz Haber Way," extending north-south along the west side of the Chemistry Building. Haber joined Karlsruhe in 1894, became associate professor in 1898 and professor in 1906. In Karlsruhe he investigated the synthesis of ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen. He left for the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute at Berlin in 1911.
