North of the Museum of Natural History by 100 meters is Townsend Hall, formerly known as the "Electrical Science Building." It was here that Moseley conducted his important research. To the left is a blue sign (behind the red car to the left), and next to it, around the corner in the recess, is a plaque (between the two red cars about two meters above the ground; see next photo). This photo was taken in 2001; in 2007 a plaque was mounted commemorating Moseley; its placement was just above the blue sign, to the right of the door, behind the red car (see second photo below).
