Title: Survey of the Binomial Coefficient Modulo a Prime

Abstract: In this learning seminar, I discuss the history of the research on the Binomial Coefficient modulo a prime, p, covering some important theorems by Kummer, Lucas, Babbage, and Wolstenholme, among others. Applications and generalizations of a few of these theorems will be introduced, with some examples.
