Congratulations to Catherine Moulder, who was awarded an NSF Graduate Fellowship to support her in her graduate studies in UNT's Department of Chemistry, where she is working toward a Ph.D. in computational chemistry, under the direction of Professor Tom Cundari.
Every four years, Mathematicians attend the International Congress of Mathematicians. UNT's Professor Stephen Jackson has been invited to give a lecture in the section on logic and foundations at the 2018 Congress to be held in Rio de Janeiro. The quadrenniel international congresses are the most prestigious gatherings of mathematicians in the world. Being invited to address the Congress is among the greatest honors that can be bestowed upon a mathematician.
