Title: Birkhoff Averages of measurable rotations.

Abstract: In this talk we will present the proof to a partial converse
of Bikhoff's Ergodic Theorem in the realm of measurable, periodic
potentials and for the map x \mapsto x+a on R. The proof uses techniques
from Fourier analysis and it is due to Zoltán Buczolich (1996).
