For a finite group G, the group algebra CG is semisimple and decomposes into simple ideals which correspond to irreducible representations of G. Do you have a favorite representation of G, irreducible or not? You can use that representation to construct a directed multigraph called a McKay Quiver. Does its shape convey deep secrets of G?
