Connie Chan

Connie Chan is a mathematics major with minors in Chinese and Mathematics and Science Secondary Teaching. Connie serves as one of the two CAS Ambassadors representing the Mathematics Department for 2012-13. Connie was a National Merit Scholar and was recognized on Honors Day in April 2011 as an Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Mathematics. Connie has been active in undergraduate research and is currently doing research in non-commutative geometry under the supervision of Professor Shepler. Connie has a variety of interests and taught Harry Potter summer camp for five years, so ask her anything! Connie is happy to talk with current or prospective mathematics majors and answer any questions they may have about undergraduate life at UNT in general, and in the Mathematics Department in particular.
