The Algebra Symposium was held at the University of North Texas on Saturday, November 5, 2016. The symposium was presented by the University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, Texas A&M University and the University of Oklahoma.

Guest speakers included: Basanti Poudyal (UTA), Shaoyun Yi (OU), Connor O'Dell (UNT), Jordan Weibe (OU), Thomas Lane (OU), Gordon Brown (OU), and Manami Roy (OU).
