In this talk, we will cover some brief examples and definitions in the area of reflection groups over the real and complex numbers. We introduce the idea of a discrete reflection group acting on set, and we discuss affine space and affine transformations. All of this leads to the idea of an affine (or infinite) complex reflection group, which combines two general areas of study, affine Coxeter/Weyl groups and finite complex reflection groups.
