On Monday, February 24 at 10am, we have Ethan Malmer presenting on his research for his Master's project.

Abstract: The p-adic numbers are similar in many ways to the base p number system. We will discuss some differences of the p-adic numbers including their construction and the p-adic valuation (absolute value) and then look at some applications.
