Lesson Learned from Teaching Large Sections

Students can tend to become disengaged when in an audience of 80 or more people (much like mathematicians attending a conference's plenary session). The presenters will discuss techniques used to effectively teach large sections either for STEM majors or for non-STEM majors. We also discuss whether these techniques could be effective in smaller classes.
