"Conway's External Steiner-Lehmus Bisector Theorem"

Abstract:

We present a result of J. H. Conway and A. Ryba in Euclidean geometry from "The Steiner-Lehmus angle bisector theorem" (2014), working under hypotheses similar to those of the famous Steiner-Lehmus Theorem of the 19th century. We also present a streamlined proof of this theorem and discuss the authors' thoughts on the existence of a direct proof.
