The new Texas-Oklahoma Representations and Automorphic forms (TORA) conference series will convene for the first time at UNT in September (17 and 18). This series of weekend conferences will be hosted in rotation by Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma and UNT. The NSF-funded TORA series is a forum for presentation of the latest research in automorphic forms and representation theory. An additional focus of TORA is providing graduate students and junior researchers an opportunity to present their work. Two invited plenary speakers and one invited graduate student will be featured at each meeting of the conference. This year's plenary speakers, Solomon Friedberg (Boston College) and Nils Skoruppa (University Siegen, Germany) will be joined by Martin Raum (Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Germany) for the two-day event. Please visit the TORA main page for additional information.
