Abstruct: A number is normal in base $10$ if every block of length k occurs with frequency $10^{-k}$ in its base $10$ expansion. This concept of normality can be extended to other types of expansions. This talk will focus on b-ary expansions, the continued fraction expansion, $\beta$-expansions, and Generalized L\"uroth Series expansions and the corresponding concepts of normality. Relationships with uniform distribution mod 1 and ergodic theory will also be investigated.
