How can we share the experience of doing mathematics with a broad audience? What objects do we need or have to build to allow visitors to capture a glimpse of the unsung richness of this field? And what mathematical problems arise when you try to build those objects? This presentation will grapple (hands-on!) with the hurdles encountered in the creation of the National Museum of Mathematics. Come prepared to explore.
