Abstract: The axiom of determinacy is an integral part of modern descriptive set theory, and within this theory partition properties of cardinals play an important role. We survey some of the fundamental results about partition relations, and then present some new results that hold, surprisingly, for all uncountable cardinals. The main new result is joint work with Ketchersid, Schlutzenberg, and Woodin.
