Women in Mathematical Sciences (WIMS) at UNT will meet 2-3pm in GAB 310 for pizza. Undergraduate mathematics majors and minors, graduate students, faculty, lecturers, adjucts are all welcome. Note that a special visitor will be joining us: Ph.D. student Padmini Veerapen from the University of Texas at Arlington will give a talk in the algebra seminar at 1pm and then join WIMS at 2pm. (She may answer questions on integrating graduate mathematics in the high school curriculum, applying for graduate schools, and applying for jobs AFTER graduate school.)
