Light Filamentation is a diffractionless propagation of high intensity ultra-short laser pulses in atmosphere. Despite two decades of experimental and theoretical research the control of filament propagation remains the main challenge in the field. In this talk, I will describe simple mathematical models of high energetic UV filaments and discuss recent and new results from our analysis.
