Lecturer

The UNT Mathematics Department is seeking applications for a full-time lecturer position to begin in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching four courses/sections each semester during the academic year, primarily focusing on entry-level college mathematics courses. Additionally, the lecturer may have the opportunity to teach co-requisite pathway courses designed for students needing extra support to achieve college readiness. Employment offers for this position are contingent upon the availability of funding.

Lecturer (Actuary)

The UNT Mathematics Department invites applications for a full-time lecturer position starting in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 4 courses/sections per semester during the academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to focus on the instruction of undergraduate mathematics courses, including but not limited to Financial Mathematics. They will also be responsible for updating the curriculum of the Actuarial Science Certificate. An offer of employment for this position will be made depending upon available funding.

Lecturer (Frisco)

The UNT Mathematics Department invites applications for a full-time lecturer position starting in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 4 courses/sections per semester during the academic year at UNT's new branch campus in Frisco, Texas, the nation's fastest growing city. The successful candidate will teach a wide variety of mathematics courses, including entry-level courses, Calculus series, Linear Algebra and Statistics. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the lecturer will actively engage in department service, assisting students, assess student learning outcomes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program and department. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with faculty. An offer of employment for this position will be made dependent upon available funding.
