Get Involved
The Department of Mathematics offers several opportunities for Math majors and non-majors alike to get involved. Interested students should contact the faculty advisor for the Math Club, Dr. Joseph Iaia, at joseph.iaia@unt.edu.
Math Club
Besides regular meetings to discuss interesting mathematics, the Math Club also organizes a picnic at North Lakes Park every semester.
Colloquium
We regularly invite guest speakers to give talks for a general mathematical audience. Some of them are specifically geared towards undergraduate students.
Integration Bee
Participate in this annual event to show off your integration skills and win prizes.
Problem of the Month
Click here or check out the Math Club bulletin board for the latest Problem of the Month. Each month there is a winner who will receive a monetary award.
Math Lab Tutors
Pass on your knowledge to other students by becoming a tutor in the Math Lab.
